Not sure I follow — you’re saying we shouldn’t be concerned with a minimum decency for all people? I’m saying if we are to care about that, it shouldn’t be conditioned on full-time employment as minimum wage proponents effectively claim. We can have the benefits of competition — which have led to concrete improvements in life like more efficient food production, better medicine, and more universal access to information through smartphones — while still taking care of the disadvantaged, through social programs like SNAP and ideally basic income.
