Don’t forget our most valuable shared resource: land! Back in the 1800s, Henry George advocated taxing the unimproved value of land and distributing the proceeds as basic income. This political philosophy became known as Georgism, which inspired the creator of Monopoly. It’s time for Georgism to make a comeback.
